Maybe I'll go to work one day and take a picture of our small selection of duct tape

On Friday I saw a band called Foamy Ed play, and I noticed some duct tape on their guitars. See if you can spot the duct tape!  (It's black)

Duct tape is a musician's life saver. Some guy at a gig was shreddin' and his string snapped, lsahed out and cut his arm. Soloution? Paper towel+duct tape!

A news story where the tape in question was in fact duct tape. I say good on the man for dealing to the kid who had a big mouth. (Hmm that kinda makes it sound like the kid got his mouth duct taped, but that's not quite what happened. Just read the story!)

Also just saw The DaVinci Code movie, and wouldn't you know it... there's duct tape. Makes a great duct tape sound too.

We (being me and a few friends) taped up someone's bike a few days ago. Although we didn't have enough to cover it entirely, we wrapped a damn lot of it around the lock.
He was there for 15 minutes, trying to cut it off with a blade. It nearly snapped.
Prior to that, we acquired his PDA and wrapped that in duck-tape too. We sent him some pictures of the now rather silver PDA and then made a decoy duck-tape wrapped PDA out of wadded paper and perspex.
He wasn't around to see us snap the decoy PDA in half, with accompanying *snap* sound and fooled his friends. |
